Description
Measurements of free chlorine can be made easily, precisely, and affordably with the HI701 Checker®HC (Handheld Colorimeter). The active type of chlorine is called free chlorine, and it is used to clean vegetable rinse water, swimming pools, and spas. A reverse osmosis membrane can also be damaged by free chlorine in water, so it must be removed from the source water before use.
The HI701 was created as a more precise substitute for chemical test kits and offers prompt, precise results in four simple steps:

Features at-a-glance:
- For use with freshwater samples
- Easier to use and more accurate than chemical test kits
- Dedicated to a single parameter
- Small size, big convenience
- Ideal for: Water Quality, Environmental, Education, Pools and Spas
