Description
The HI7041S electrolyte solution is specially formulated to maintain optimal function of polarographic dissolved oxygen sensors. Using the Ross and Clark method, a small current is produced between a platinum cathode and silver anode proportional to the oxygen concentration in the sample. The PTFE membrane holds a concentrated potassium chloride solution that allows oxygen diffusion while protecting the electrode surfaces, ensuring accurate and reliable DO measurements.
Each bottle contains 30 mL of electrolyte solution and is designed for easy replenishment of probes without the need for complex preparation.
