Description
Measuring drinking water pH can be challenging due to its low mineral content and low conductivity, which may cause unstable readings with standard electrodes. The HI99192 overcomes this issue using the FC2153 amplified pH electrode with enhanced electrolyte flow (40–50 µL/hour), ensuring stronger electrical continuity between the reference and measuring electrode. This makes it highly reliable for surface water, groundwater, and treated drinking water applications.
The electrode features a durable glass body for chemical resistance, a spherical sensing tip for maximum contact with aqueous samples, and a built-in temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation from -5 to 105°C. Combined with automatic calibration, sensor diagnostics, and long 1400-hour battery life, this meter provides consistent, professional-level performance in demanding environments.
