Description
The HI98191 pH meter includes a titanium body pH electrode with a temperature sensor built in for automatic temperature compensation readings. The titanium body is practically indestructible and chemically resistant to strong chemicals.
The exclusive CAL CheckTM function from Hanna warns the user of potential issues during the pH calibration process. The meter will notify the user with display prompts when the probe needs to be cleaned or is broken and if the pH buffer may be contaminated by comparing past calibration data to the present calibration. The overall probe condition is shown as a percentage from 0 to 100% in increments of 10% after calibration. The probe condition, which is shown on the measurement screen on the calibration day and in the GLP data, is influenced by the pH electrode’s offset and slope parameters. To achieve a pH accuracy of 0.002 with 0.001 pH resolution, pH calibration can be carried out up to five points using seven preprogrammed standard pH buffers and five bespoke ones.
15 different ISE sensors are preprogrammed in the HI98191 meter. The proper ion charge and ion molar weight are applied to display the ISE slope percentage by selecting the proper ISE in the ISE Setup Menu. Following that, users can calibrate up to five points using one of six standard values. This meter has an enlarged measuring range of 1.00 x 10-7 to 9.99 x 1010 and offers a wide range of measurement units (ppm, ppt, g/L, ppb, g/L, mg/mL, M, mol/L, mmol/L,% w/v, user defined).
The meter will freeze at a stable reading when the “AutoHold” virtual key, which can be found in measurement mode, is pressed, allowing the reading to be recorded or logged. When a reading is outside the range of calibrated pH values, a “out of calibration range” warning that notifies the user will be enabled.
The user can record and save as many as 300 samples using the log-on-demand mode (100 each for pH, mV, and ISE). With Hanna’s HI920015 micro USB cable and HI92000 software, this data may then be transmitted to a PC together with the related GLP data.
By pressing a dedicated button, you can receive content-specific information based on the screen that is now being viewed and access support at any time.
When the backlight is on, the high contrast graphic LCD is both outside and in direct sunshine easily readable. Easy, intuitive operation in a variety of languages is made possible by a combination of dedicated and virtual keys.
Thermoformed to accommodate the meter, electrode, and beakers, as well as all other required parts for taking a field measurement, the small, tough carrying case is strong and portable.
