The Xrite Ci4200 Compact Benchtop Spectrophotometer is a high-precision instrument designed for rapid and reliable color and gloss measurement in laboratory and production settings. It offers a measurement geometry of d/8° and a short-term repeatability of 0.05 ΔE*ab on a white ceramic standard, ensuring highly accurate color readings. The device features a gas-filled tungsten lamp with UV LEDs, a measurement spot of 8mm, and a cycle time of approximately 2 seconds, making it efficient for testing multiple samples. With a photometric range of 0–200% and spectral coverage from 400–700 nm at 10 nm intervals, the Ci4200 provides detailed spectral data with a resolution of 0.01%, suitable for rigorous quality control and color matching applications.
In addition to its measurement capabilities, the Ci4200 supports consistent performance management across the supply chain via embedded NetProfiler functionality, allowing calibration and performance checks to be standardized. It also enables easy data interchange with X-Rite portable spectrophotometers such as the Ci64. The instrument is compact (26.4 × 19 × 22 cm), weighing 5.2 kg, and operates under a broad environmental range (10°C–40°C, 5%–85% RH non-condensing).
