Description
The S.E. International Radiation Alert Monitor 200 is a versatile, multi-purpose radiation detection device designed for professionals requiring reliable measurement of alpha, beta, gamma, and X-ray radiation. It utilizes a halogen-quenched GM tube with a thin mica end window for sensitive detection, offering dose rate readings from 0.001 to 200 mR/hr and total counts up to 9,999,000. With adjustable alert thresholds, pulsating beeper notifications, and selectable units in mR/hr, µSv/hr, CPM, or CPS, it provides both flexibility and precision for a wide range of monitoring scenarios.
Engineered for portability and ease of use, the Monitor 200 features a graphic LCD display with backlight, a red LED count indicator, and audible click per count. Data can be accessed via USB using the Observer software or through Bluetooth on Android devices. Lightweight at 181 g, it operates on USB power or two AA batteries with approximately 800 hours of battery life. This monitor is ideal for detecting surface contamination, monitoring exposure to radionuclides, screening environmental contamination, and identifying low-energy radioactive gases, making it suitable for industrial, laboratory, and field applications.
