Description
The Obsnapmeter Concrete Inspection Hammer (Mechanical) is a reliable non-destructive testing tool designed to measure the compressive strength of concrete directly on site. Using the rebound principle, the hammer delivers a controlled impact to the concrete surface, and the rebound distance is measured to assess the material’s hardness. This measurement can then be converted into compressive strength using standard conversion tables. Lightweight at 1.8 kg and compliant with standards such as UNI EN 12504-2, ASTM C805, and BS 1881, the LD0500 model ensures accurate and repeatable results, making it ideal for evaluating built-in concrete where laboratory testing is impractical. Optional accessories like a test anvil allow verification of the device’s accuracy, further enhancing its reliability.
Designed for durability and ease of use, the LD0500 concrete test hammer is suitable for a wide range of applications, including concrete, rock, and other construction materials. Its impact energy of 2.207 J and precise 75 mm impact stroke enable accurate readings without damaging the surface. The device accounts for various factors influencing concrete strength, such as aggregate size, water-cement ratio, and air content, and can output measurements directly or transmit data to a PC for analysis. This makes it an essential tool for on-site quality control, ensuring the safety and reliability of construction projects while streamlining strength testing workflows.
