Description
The Earth Resistance Tester is designed for precise measurement of earth voltage and resistance in electrical circuits. It features a 3½-digit LCD that provides clear readings up to 1999Ω and displays “1 – – – –” for out-of-range measurements. The device runs on six AA batteries and includes a 10-minute auto power-off function to conserve energy.
This tester ensures safe and reliable testing with an earth resistance current of 2mA, which prevents tripping earth leakage circuit breakers. It comes with test leads, auxiliary earth spikes, and a carrying case for convenient field use. Built to meet EN 61010-1 and EN 61557 standards, it provides automatic warnings if the auxiliary earth spike resistance exceeds the allowed tolerance. The data hold function and zero ohm adjustment make it practical for both quick checks and detailed diagnostics.
