Description
This Insulation Tester provides accurate, reliable insulation and continuity testing in a compact, portable package. Its large 80 × 50 mm LCD clearly displays readings, supported by a 50-segment analog bar graph for instant visual feedback.
It measures insulation resistance from 4 MΩ to 4000 MΩ across 250V, 500V, and 1000V terminal voltages. Continuity tests support 200 mA short-circuit current with audible feedback for resistance under 4 Ω. AC voltage measurement reaches up to 600V (40–500 Hz).
The tester supports auto-range for Mega Ohm measurements and stores up to 16,000 records via RS-232, allowing easy PC interfacing. Safety is ensured with CAT II 1000V / CAT III 600V ratings and IEC61557 compliance. Auto-discharge safely removes residual voltage after testing.
The kit includes test leads, 8 AA batteries, carrying case, operation manual, and software CD, making it convenient for professional field and lab applications.
