The TES-1369B is a portable heat stress monitor that measures temperature, humidity, and air velocity to calculate WBGT, Heat Index, and Wind Chill. It is ideal for assessing workplace thermal environments and recording environmental data for safety compliance.

Description

The TES-1369B Heat Stress Monitor is a portable instrument designed to assess thermal stress in workplaces and outdoor environments. It measures globe, dry bulb, and wet bulb temperatures, as well as air velocity, to calculate WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) both indoors and outdoors, along with Heat Index and Wind Chill. The device uses NTC thermistors for temperature and heated RTD sensors for airflow, providing a resolution of 0.1°C/°F and 0.1 m/s, and accuracies of ±0.5°C/±0.9°F and ±(4% reading + 0.1 m/s) respectively.

The monitor supports both manual and automatic data logging (99 sets manually, 65,000 sets automatically) and stores readings for later analysis. Powered by a 9V battery or AC adapter, it operates in temperatures from -5°C to +60°C and 0–100% RH (non-condensing). Compact yet robust, it includes a carrying case, globe sensors, sensor cable, and software for full environmental monitoring, making it ideal for occupational safety and heat stress assessment.
