Description
The Met One 083F/085A Relative Humidity and Temperature Sensor is a high-precision sensor designed for reliable environmental monitoring in both naturally aspirated and motor-aspirated shield setups. Using a thin-film polymer capacitor as the sensing element, it measures relative humidity over a full 0–100% range with ±2% accuracy and a fast 10-second response time at 2 m/s aspiration. The sensor is complemented by a precision multi-element thermistor for temperature measurements between −30°C and +50°C, providing ±0.15°C accuracy. Outputs include standard 0–1 VDC for humidity and resistive output for temperature, with optional 0–5 VDC for flexible system integration.
Compact and lightweight, the 083F/085A is easily installed in weather stations or environmental monitoring networks. Its solid-state design ensures durability and rapid response, consuming just 4 mA at 12 VDC, making it energy-efficient for remote deployments. The sensors are simple to maintain, easily cleaned with distilled water, and suitable for use with the Met One 076B motor-aspirated or naturally aspirated radiation shields. They are ideal for applications requiring precise, real-time monitoring of ambient humidity and temperature conditions.
