Description

The S.E. International Radiation Alert Ranger is a versatile, high-sensitivity radiation survey meter designed to detect alpha, beta, gamma, and X-ray radiation using an internal halogen-quenched Geiger-Müller tube with a thin mica window. With wide operating ranges across mR/hr, µSv/hr, CPM, CPS, and total counts, the Ranger delivers reliable detection of both low-level background radiation and elevated radiation fields. Its strong energy sensitivity allows detection of low-energy alpha and beta particles, as well as gamma radiation down to 10 keV, making it suitable for a broad range of radionuclides and environmental conditions.

Built for professional field and laboratory use, the Radiation Alert Ranger features a backlit graphic LCD, visual red count LED, audible alarms with adjustable thresholds, and advanced averaging that automatically adapts to radiation levels. Data connectivity is enhanced through USB and Bluetooth, enabling real-time monitoring and logging via free Observer software for PC and Android devices.
