Description

The Met One PARTAC Tactical Particulate Profiler is a compact, high-precision device designed to monitor airborne particles in real time, ideal for ambient monitoring, emergency response, and military or homeland security applications. Using scattered laser light, it counts individual particles across eight programmable size channels ranging from 0.3 µm to 10 µm, with a concentration measurement capacity of up to 9,000,000 particles per cubic foot. Its rapid sampling capabilities—1 second to 1 hour—and high sensitivity make it suitable for both routine environmental monitoring and critical response situations. The instrument is factory-calibrated to ASTM F328 and ASTM F649 standards, ensuring reliable and consistent results.

Powered by a 6–15 V DC supply, the PARTAC is energy-efficient and supports flexible communication through RS-232C or RS-485 interfaces with ASCII or MODBUS RTU protocols. Built-in diagnostic registers monitor laser and pump status, ensuring operational integrity in the field. Its lightweight, 1.8 kg aluminum housing, coupled with the “QuickMount” system, allows for rapid deployment in a variety of environments, while its wide operating temperature range (-10° to +60°C) ensures durability and performance under harsh conditions.
