The Met One Instruments 412 Portable Simultaneous Particulate Profiler is a compact, field-deployable air quality monitor designed for accurate, real-time measurement of PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter. It uses right-angle laser light scatter technology with a high-power 785 nm diode laser, delivering reliable mass concentration data with a fine resolution of 0.1 µg/m³. Active volumetric flow control, combined with a stable brushless diaphragm pump and matched sample and sheath airflows, ensures consistent performance across a wide range of environmental conditions. The integrated automatic inlet heater further improves data quality by controlling sample humidity, making the instrument suitable for continuous outdoor operation.
Engineered for modern monitoring networks, the Met One 412 supports cloud-based data transmission via LTE-M or GSM, with GPS included for location-tagged measurements and long-term data storage of up to two years. Its lightweight, portable design allows flexible deployment on poles, walls, or tripods, making it ideal for temporary studies or rapid response monitoring.
