Description
The HI9813-6 delivers reliable multi-parameter measurement of pH (0.0–14.0), EC (0.00–4.00 mS/cm), TDS (0–1999 ppm), and temperature (0–60°C) in one compact device. Manual one-point calibration is performed through offset and slope trimmers, while the built-in CAL Check™ feature monitors probe status and alerts users when recalibration is needed. The meter automatically compensates EC and TDS readings for temperature changes (0–50°C) using a fixed temperature correction coefficient of 2%/°C, ensuring consistent and accurate readings in varying environments.
The supplied HI1285-6 amplified combination probe integrates pH, EC/TDS, and temperature sensors into one durable body with an 8-pin DIN connector and 1 m cable. The amplified pH electrode provides immunity to electrical noise from pumps, ballasts, and other equipment commonly found in hydroponic and greenhouse systems. Additionally, the EC to TDS conversion factor automatically adjusts from 0.56 to 0.78 based on actual EC readings, providing more representative TDS values for natural water applications.
