Dosimetry – Sentry EC / Dosimeter & Ratemeter

A personal alarming radiation dosimeter and rate metre is the Radiation Alert® Sentry EC. This model is intended to protect workers whose jobs may expose them to x-rays or gamma radiation.

The small, portable device contains a built-in memory for storing data points for tracking cumulative exposure as well as an energy-compensated tube for a linear reaction to gamma radiation. To create incident reconstruction for analysis, use the free SentryCom Software. Additionally, you may simply adjust the vibrating and auditory alert levels for the dose (>1.0 mR/10 Sv) and dose rate (>1.0 mR/hr/10 Sv/hr) using the programme.

You may select between an unobtrusive quiet mode or loud clicks for each count received by using the audio switch.
