The CCS COMET Cloud+ Service is a reliable cloud-based data communication and management solution designed to support continuous environmental and air quality monitoring. Powered by a 12 VDC input with low average power consumption, the modem operates in harsh outdoor conditions ranging from –25°C to +60°C and up to 100% RH (non-condensing). With an IP64-rated enclosure, internal GPS module, and pole-mounting hardware, it is well suited for permanent or temporary field deployments. The system communicates using the MOI 7500 protocol via RS-232 or RS-485, ensuring seamless integration with compatible monitoring instruments from Met One Instruments.
The service supports LTE-M connectivity in the U.S. and GSM networks internationally, enabling dependable data transmission across more than 550 global networks. Data is collected every second at the modem and automatically uploaded to the cloud at configurable intervals—every 15 minutes (U.S.) or 60 minutes (global) as standard, with faster options available. Cloud storage retains up to two years of data, making long-term analysis and reporting simple and accessible from anywhere. With one year of service included and flexible renewals available, CCS COMET Cloud+ is ideal for applications such as emergency response, smart cities, industrial monitoring, environmental research, schools, and fenceline or dust monitoring projects.
