Description
The PROVA 700/710 Low Resistance Meter is designed for highly accurate, low-resistance measurements in industrial, laboratory, and field applications. It can measure resistance from 400 μΩ up to 6 kΩ, depending on the current range, with exceptional resolution down to 1 μΩ. Both manual and auto-ranging options allow users to adapt the meter to different applications, from cables and contact resistance to resistive and inductive materials. The meter also provides Hi-Lo alarms with programmable thresholds and memory for up to 20 data points, ensuring real-time quality checks and compliance monitoring.
The meter’s 5-digit backlit LCD clearly displays readings, and users can hold measurements for convenience. Cable length measurement can be displayed in meters or feet, and the meter can automatically exclude cable resistance from results when using four-terminal Kelvin measurements. With memory for 3,000 readings and PC connectivity via RS232C, the PROVA 700/710 allows for efficient data logging and reporting. Rechargeable lithium batteries and an AC adapter make it portable and suitable for on-site testing. Applications include low-resistance cable testing, contact resistance measurements, and industrial QC inspections.
