Description

The Graphtec GL7-DCB is a versatile DC bridge amplifier module designed for use with strain gauge-based sensors, enabling precise measurement of strain, voltage, and resistance. Featuring 4 isolated input channels with simultaneous sampling, the module supports quarter, half, and full bridge configurations, including remote sensing for enhanced accuracy. It provides a wide measurement range for strain (up to 20,000 με), voltage (up to 10 V full scale), and resistance (up to 50 kΩ), with excitation power supplied in both voltage and constant current modes. The module’s built-in RAM can store up to 2 million samples per channel, and its high input impedance, robust isolation, and wide frequency response (DC to 20 kHz) ensure reliable and accurate signal acquisition.

The GL7-DCB also supports IEEE 1451.4 TEDS for automatic sensor identification and setup, simplifying configuration and calibration. High-precision measurements are enabled through low-pass and anti-aliasing filters, while features such as automatic zero adjustment and shunt calibration allow easy maintenance of measurement accuracy. Compact and durable, this module is suitable for dynamic testing applications where accurate strain, voltage, or resistance measurements are critical, making it ideal for evaluating phenomena such as force, pressure, and acceleration with strain gauge sensors.

● GND terminal is connected to ground.

 

● Remote sensing is not available when a NDIS connector is used. ● When a bridge box is used,
the connection needs to be 4-wire or 6-wire full bridge. When connecting with a Half bridge
(Opposite side), an additional bridge box is required. ● Bridge excitation: Constant current
drives a strain gauge type sensor or a 4-wire full bridge. ● The shunt calibration is available
only when the connection is using a 3-wire, 4-wire quarter bridge, 5-wire full bridge, or 6-wire
full bridge.
