The Tinytag TGU-4500 Ultra 2 is a high-precision data logger designed to monitor both temperature and relative humidity in a wide range of environments. It measures temperatures from -25°C to +85°C (-13°F to +185°F) with an internal 10K NTC thermistor, offering a resolution of 0.01°C and temperature accuracy that varies with the range, e.g., approximately ±1.3°C at -40°C and ±0.1°C at 80°C. Humidity is measured from 0% to 95% RH using an externally mounted capacitive sensor, with an accuracy of ±3.0% RH at 25°C and a resolution better than 0.3% RH. The logger responds quickly, reaching 90% of full-scale deflection in about 20 minutes for temperature and 10 seconds for humidity in moving air.
Built for durability and usability, the TGU-4500 Ultra 2 features a splash-proof IP53 case and weighs only 55 g, with compact dimensions of 72 mm × 60 mm × 33 mm. It has a large memory capacity of 32,000 readings, supports a delayed start, and includes a battery life monitor with an easily replaceable battery. These features, combined with its high-resolution readings and robust design, make it ideal for applications in laboratories, storage facilities, and transportation monitoring, ensuring reliable and long-term temperature and humidity tracking.
