Description

The Met One 370D and 380D Precipitation Gauges are precision-engineered tipping bucket instruments designed for accurate measurement of rainfall and snowfall in a variety of environmental conditions. The 370D features an 8-inch orifice, while the 380D offers a larger 12-inch orifice, both equipped with magnet-and-reed switches and optional calibration settings for highly precise data collection. Built with corrosion-resistant materials and Teflon-coated stainless steel buckets, these gauges ensure durability and long-term reliability. Their dual-chamber, self-emptying design, combined with jewel bearings, minimizes friction and wear, allowing for consistent tipping performance over time. Optional heating elements enable operation in freezing conditions, making them suitable for year-round meteorological monitoring.

Both models are designed with practical installation in mind, featuring adjustable leveling feet and bubble levels for proper mounting, as well as funnel screens to prevent debris from obstructing measurements.
