Description
The Met One TACMET II Weather Station is a rugged, high-performance system designed for accurate environmental monitoring in demanding conditions, including military, homeland security, and emergency response applications. It provides precise measurements of wind speed (up to 145 mph) and direction (0–360°), with wind speed accuracy of ±0.5 m/s and directional accuracy of ±5° at moderate winds. The system also monitors temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure, offering resolutions as fine as 0.1°C, 1% RH, and 0.1 in Hg, ensuring detailed and reliable weather data for operational decision-making.
Built for durability, the TACMET II operates over a wide temperature range of -40° to 60°C and has a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 80,000 hours, reflecting its long-term reliability. Its combination of high-resolution sensors and robust design makes it ideal for continuous ambient monitoring in challenging environments where accurate, real-time weather data is critical for safety, planning, and situational awareness.
