Description

Met One ES-642 Remote Dust Monitor is a high-performance, continuous particulate monitoring instrument designed for reliable outdoor and industrial air-quality applications. Using a forward light scatter laser nephelometer with a visible red diode laser, the ES-642 delivers precise real-time measurements of airborne particulate matter across a wide range, from very low concentrations up to heavily polluted environments. With support for multiple cut points—including TSP, PM10, PM2.5, and PM1 via sharp-cut cyclone inlets—the monitor is well suited for regulatory monitoring, environmental studies, and industrial compliance where accuracy and flexibility are essential.

Built for long-term deployment, the ES-642 features a rugged weatherproof enclosure, automatic zero calibration to minimize drift, and active humidity control through a controlled inlet heater to reduce measurement errors in high-humidity conditions. A clear backlit LCD displays concentration levels, flow status, and instrument health at a glance, while multiple analog and digital outputs allow seamless integration with data loggers and control systems.
