The TES-1358C Sound Analyzer is a Class 2 precision instrument designed for real-time 1/1 and 1/3 octave band analysis, making it ideal for environmental, industrial, and occupational noise assessment. Compliant with international standards including IEC 61672-1:2013 Class 2, IEC 61260-1:2014 Class 2, and relevant ANSI Type 2 standards, it measures sound levels from 30 to 130 dB across 25 Hz to 10 kHz, supporting A, C, and Z frequency weightings. Its measurement functions include Lp, Leq, Lmax, Lmin, L05, L10, L50, L90, and L95, with Fast, Slow, Impulse, and τ=10 ms time weightings, delivering accurate readings within ±1.0 dB at 1 kHz. The ½-inch electret condenser microphone ensures precise sound capture for both steady and transient noise sources.
Built for portability and ease of data management, the TES-1358C features a 3.5” TFT LCD with backlight, manual and automatic data recording to a 4 GB micro SD card, and AC/DC outputs for external devices. It supports triggers from internal or external sources and includes extension cable options for flexible sensor placement. Powered by 4 C-size batteries or an external 6V DC supply, it provides about 2 hours of battery life and operates reliably in temperatures from -10°C to 50°C with 10–90% relative humidity. Accessories include a hard carry case, USB cable, windscreen, and calibration tools, making it a comprehensive solution for precise, real-time sound analysis.
